POST DUMPLING FESTIVAL TREAT
My brother and I pestered grandma for her signature nonya bak-chang. You see, she was busy with relatives visiting and holidaying during the festival. Last week, she had no excuse but "bao" these sweet things! According to Grandma, bak-chang is super troublesome - from sorting the glutinous rice to distributing the bak-chang and satisfying the cravings of her 2 noisy grandchildren!!
I was looking forward to wrapping the bak-chang. Always thought I had the "talent". Unfortunately I wasnt able to wrap anything to big, so I decided to concentrate on making tiny bak-changs which turn out rather pretty, some say.
